My very own archaeological dig

I went to get the paper this morning and found a treasure peeking through the thawing snow. It was the Saturday, December 22, 2007 edition of The Wichita Eagle that was covered during that awful snowstorm that pounded us that day. How did I make it through that day without my Eagle?

I might put this fantastic find up on eBay. Any early bidders? I do accept PayPal.

Anyone else find anything interesting underneath the thawing snow?

The one great thing about having a Golden Retriever is.....she goes out every morning and gets the paper (at the end of our long driveway) for me! The only thing under our thawing yellow snow is.....something from our dog!

I'm gonna have to teach my cat to do that.

Believe it or not, I found a pretty pansy in full bloom when the snow melted off one of our flower gardens! (I posted a photo on my blog.)
